The City of Orlando will host its annual Fireworks at the Fountain event on Saturday, July 4, at Lake Eola Park, celebrating Independence Day and the nation’s 250th anniversary. They won’t have drones this year either.
Festivities are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. with live music, a kids’ play zone, and local food and beverage vendors. The fireworks are expected to start going off at 9:10 p.m., and will be synchronized with a live performance by the Orlando Concert Band.
Several road closures will be in effect. Robinson Street from Rosalind Avenue to Summerlin Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. to midnight. Eola Drive from Robinson Street to Washington Street will be closed from 6 a.m. on July 3 through 12 p.m. on July 5. Rosalind Avenue from South Street to Robinson Street and Central Boulevard from Rosalind Avenue to Eola Drive will both be closed from 2 p.m. to midnight on July 4.
Guests can bring coolers, umbrellas, chairs, picnic blankets, and leashed, well-behaved pets. Outside alcohol is not permitted. Personal fireworks, staking items into the ground, and unauthorized vending are prohibited.
