Central Florida Public Media is hosting Pints for Public Media on Sunday, May 17, from 1 to 4 PM at Ivanhoe Park Lager House (Website). The fundraiser supports local public media through ticket sales and special On-Air Ale purchases.
Tickets are $20 and include admission plus one drink ticket redeemable for any draft beer, house wine, or non-alcoholic beverage. Children can apparently attend for free, but you’ll have to buy their beer.
The afternoon features Central Florida trivia hosted by Brendan Byrne, the host of “Are We There Yet?”, live music from Hannah Stokes, a prize wheel with Central Florida Public Media swag, and the chance to meet reporters from the news team.
Event sponsors include Ivanhoe Park Lager House, Window World, Orlando Science Center, Don Mealy Sport Subaru South, and Climate First Bank.
