Emerging Dominican bachata singer Dalvin La Melodia (Website) will make his Orlando debut at Kia Center (Website) on Thursday, October 15, as part of his first-ever US tour.
La Melodia, born Dalvin Antonio Núñez Vargas, was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and got his start singing in a local church choir with his father. While working odd jobs, he spent his free time developing his craft and posting street-corner and in-transit vocal performances online. His career shifted in 2024 when he began working with guitarist, arranger, and producer Michael Quevedo, who helped shape his acoustic sound.
His music blends traditional romantic bachata with modern R&B and urban Latin influences. He has built a large streaming following, with more than 85 million total streams on Spotify and more than 73 million YouTube views across tracks like “Mi Reina,” “Chiquilla Bonita,” and “Tesoro Perdido.” Last year, La Melodia appeared on “Menor,” a collaboration with Romeo Santos and Prince Royce.
