A Griezmann welcome mural just appeared on the side of Anh Hong at Mills and Colonial

A beautiful one-story mural welcoming Antoine Griezmann to Orlando has appeared on the side of Anh Hong restaurant at the corner of Mills Avenue and East Colonial Drive in the Mills 50 district, and is the work of Steve Teller (Instagram | Website). The one where you aren’t supposed to turn left if you’re headed northbound, but some of you do anyway.

The mural reads “Welcome to Orlando” alongside a portrait of Griezmann and highlights from his football career, rendered in deep purple, the color of his new team.

Griezmann has been playing soccer since 2009, for Real Sociedad, Atlético Madrid, Barcelona and France, and with Atlético Madrid helped the club win the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup titles as one of the team’s all-time leading scorers. The 2018 World Cup champion scored on his unofficial debut for Orlando City in a friendly against the Tampa Bay Rowdies and will play his first official MLS game with Orlando City on July 22 in San Jose against the San Jose Earthquakes.

The mural was not commissioned by Orlando City SC.
