Halloween Horror Nights (Website) has announced a Hellraiser-themed haunted house for its 2026 fest, and it’s the first time the franchise has appeared at the event in its history. The house will be based on the first three films in the series: the original 1987 Clive Barker film, Hellbound: Hellraiser II, and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth.
The original Hellraiser follows the Cenobites, a group of former humans turned interdimensional monsters who harvest human souls, unleashed into the world after a puzzle box called the Lament Configuration is solved. Their leader, Pinhead, has managed to become one of horror’s most iconic figures across the franchise’s 11 films and an HBO Max series, and I dated a guy who dressed like him every Halloween.
Guests will move through scenes including the attic of Frank Cotton’s family home and the Channard Institute before coming face to face with Pinhead and the Cenobites in The Labyrinth at the house’s conclusion. Actor Doug Bradley, who originated the role of Pinhead, will voice the character for the attraction.
Other houses already announced for this year’s event include Sinners, Stranger Things, H.R. Bloodengutz, and Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos and Control. Halloween Horror Nights runs Aug. 28 through Nov. 1 on select nights. Tickets are available now at universalorlando.com and are not included with regular park admission or annual passes.
