Cosa Nostra Italian Deli (Instagram) has filed plans to open at 32 W Plant Street [GMap] in downtown Winter Garden, the same location where Writer’s Block Bookstore closed in April.
The Clermont-based deli has submitted plan review documents to City Hall, but there is no public opening date or construction timeline at this time.
Cosa Nostra opened its flagship location at 798 W Montrose Street [GMap] in Clermont in December 2024. The family-run deli specializes in Italian sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, and charcuterie boards. Menu items include the Super Tuscany (prosciutto di Parma, salami, mortadella, fresh mozzarella, pesto sauce, tomato, lettuce, roasted red pepper, aioli) and the Muffaletta Nostra (salami, mortadella, Italian ham, mozzarella, provolone, giardiniera sauce, lettuce, red onions, tomato, aioli).
Writer’s Block Bookstore continues to operate its Winter Park location and offers online ordering at writersblockbookstore.com.
