WUCF (Instagram | Website) will hold its 12th annual Be My Neighbor Day on Saturday, February 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Loch Haven Park.
Be My Neighbor Day is a free event and is based on the themes of kindness and community found in PBS KIDS programming, including Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (a spinoff from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood).
Activities include community clean-up projects with Keep Orlando Beautiful, service projects like assembling resource kits with Help Now Osceola, live music from the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra, and storytelling sessions led by local libraries and authors. A meet-and-greet with Daniel Tiger will also take place during the event.
