REFLECTION SPACE RENDERING VIA CITY OF ORLANDO
The Orlando City Council has just approved a funding plan totaling $12 million to build a permanent memorial at the former Pulse nightclub site, advancing a city-led project that infamously replaced the now-defunct national museum proposal led by the dissolved onePULSE Foundation (as pictured below).

Under the new plan, Orange County will also contribute $5 million, and the City of Orlando will fund the balance, including prior land purchases. City materials and recent coverage indicate a target groundbreaking in 2026 and completion by 2027, with design work shaped by a Pulse Memorial Advisory Committee (Website) comprised of 18 members, chosen from more than 150 applicants, who had some sort of connection to the incident.
