Dark-pop artist Sub Urban (Instagram | Website) is playing The Social in downtown Orlando on Saturday, Oct. 10, with doors for “The Bell Tolls Tour” set for 6 p.m., and Golden Cats (Instagram) will be opening.
Sub Urban, the stage name of Taiwanese American musician Daniel Virgil Maisonneuve, built his audience on emo, genre-blurring pop songs, like “Cradles,” (the music video is at the bottom of this post), which went double platinum with the RIAA.
