UPDATE 8/28: Pig Floyd’s is scheduled to open this Friday, and we got an early preview on our Instagram account.
Pig Floyd’s (Website) has been hard at work on an overhaul of the former Bubbalou’s Boacious Bar-B-Que space in Winter Park since 2021, and it appears they’re finally ready to flex in their new kitchen.
The space, located at 1471 Lee Road [GMap], was originally supposed to open back in 2022, but life apparently happened, and things were delayed. The new location is currently testing its new menu on Uber Eats and DoorDash exclusively ahead of its opening, and you can start ordering from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. this Tuesday.
According to its online menu, they’ll be offering combo meat platters, protein and rice bowls, signature wok bowls, pulled pork sandwiches, brisket, and a variety of sandwiches (including a crispy chicken banh mi that sounds fantastic). Sides include jasmine rice and Cuban black beans, maduros, mac and cheese, Mexican street corn, and apple fennel slaw. As well as a “Pigs Picks” side of Mexican Street Corn Fries with cilantro aioli, corn, cotija cheese, and chives.
An opening date is yet to be shared publicly.
