Bar Rescue host and hospitality expert Jon Taffer has officially opened the first Florida location of Taffer’s Tavern (Website), his signature restaurant and bar concept, on International Drive in Orlando.
Taffer, best known for his role as the no-nonsense consultant on the hit television series Bar Rescue, designed Taffer’s Tavern as a modern take on the classic neighborhood pub, where guests can enjoy signature cocktails, hearty bar food, and warm hospitality.
“Taffer’s Tavern is the quintessential pub, a place to gather with your old friends and make new ones along the way,” Taffer said in a statement. “I wanted to create a concept that combines innovation, great food, and exceptional service, while keeping the experience consistent across every location.”
The restaurant features an elevated tavern-style menu and a curated cocktail program. In 2025, Taffer partnered with Craveworthy Brands, a multi-brand restaurant platform, to push for national expansion of the Taffer’s Tavern brand.
Over the years, Jon Taffer and his team from Bar Rescue have worked with several venues in the Orlando area, bringing his trademark mix of tough love and business strategy to struggling bars. Among the Central Florida establishments featured on the show are The Copper Rocket in Maitland, Rockin’ Rhonda’s Lounge in Sanford, and The Game Room and Social Club in downtown Orlando, which received a full transformation earlier this year.
