Palestinian food truck Zayn & Co. opening permanent booth at Digress Wine

As first reported by swarthy gentleman Faiyaz Kara for Orlando Weekly, Zayn & Co. (Instagram) will open a permanent booth in the back patio of Digress Wine (Website) in early March after spending the past few months as a semi-permanent food truck at the wine shop.

The Palestinian coffee and food truck operation is run by Jordan Badran, his wife Stephanie, and cousin Rani Khoury, and the booth will let Zayn & Co. serve the community five or six days per week compared to their current three-day schedule. The food truck will remain available for private bookings and larger events.

The operation serves Arabic coffee drinks, including the Pistachi-Oh, as well as teas, cold beverages, and baked goods. Fresh-baked items include za’atar focaccia, spiced meat sfiha focaccia, spinach pies, cookies, and rotating daily specials, and falafel will be featured on Fridays using a family recipe from Badran’s grandmother.

For larger events, the team has been expanding offerings to include traditional Palestinian dishes such as dawood basha, molokhia, mujaddara, maqluba, and musakhan. Many of these dishes will be offered as specials.
