In advance of the new year, Orange County Utilities has launched a new collection schedule for county residents. Customers with carts that have blue and green lids should use the county portal HERE to check their new collection schedule.
The new collection schedule affects garbage, recycling, yard waste, and large item pickup, and starts on December 29. Customers can input their address, parcel ID, or their own names to search for their curbside collection schedule.
Thursday, January 1, is a regular collection service day, so carts and items should be by the curb at 6 a.m. Be sure to drag them out before you pass out on your couch.
