The Mennello Museum of American Art (Website) is hosting a pet-friendly Fourth of July event this Saturday, July 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., called Red, White & Woof, timed to National All-American Pet Photo Day, which is apparently a thing.
The free event takes place in the museum’s lakeside Sculpture Garden at 900 E. Princeton Street [GMap] in Ivanhoe Village. It will feature themed photo vignettes, a patriotic pet costume contest, local vendors including Nothing Bundt Cakes, pet-friendly treats, and art-inspired activities for families.
Current and new museum members will receive a free dog bowl. All are welcome, including four-legged guests.
