Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards (Website) in Clermont is launching a new weekly farmers market and inviting Central Florida growers, makers, and small businesses to showcase their wares.
Launching on Saturday, September 12, the Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards Farmers Market will run every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with free admission and wine tastings available for $5. Vendors will offer a rotating mix of fresh produce, local honey, sourdough bread, farm-fresh eggs, specialty coffee, herbs, spices, jellies, and artisan desserts, with offerings shifting based on the season and vendor availability.
The September 12 lineup includes Lettuce Bee Your Greenhouse for produce, Florida Shroom King for mushrooms, The Wildflower Ranch for beef, Lucky Feather Homestead & Bakehouse for farm-fresh eggs, Pinesmoke Bee Co. for local honey, and R&D Group Floral Design for fresh flowers. Additional opening-day vendors include Empire Pickle Company, Curds and Whey for artisan cheese, The American Dips for hummus and dips, Ragazzis on the Go for fresh pasta and sauces, Chef Paddy’s Kitchen for seasonings, Dirty Dan’s Hot Sauce, and Golden Compass Creations for pepper jelly.
Bakers and sweets vendors will include Sheri’s Sourdough n’ Such, Leaven & Layer, Cat’s Cottage Bakery, Sunbeams & Sugar meringue cookies, Sweet Macarons, and Ms. Graces Kettle gourmet popcorn. Mercury Rising Coffee and Slake cold-pressed juice will handle drinks, and Poe’s Pupcakes & Treats will offer dog treats for four-legged shoppers.
Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards is encouraging additional local growers, producers, food makers, and artisans interested in becoming vendors to reach out directly.
