As first reported by FOX 35, Lake Mary’s Christopher Chikodroff has been selected to represent Team USA at the prestigious 2025 U‑12 Baseball World Cup in Taiwan this summer.
The event will be held July 25–August 3, and features top international teams in the 11–12 age group. . Having been instrumental in Lake Mary’s dramatic and historic 2024 Little League World Series championship, Florida’s first, Chikodroff told FOX that he feels honored. “Once you put that jersey on, the whole USA is rooting for you,” he reflected, calling the opportunity “just a big deal.”
The U‑12 Baseball World Cup, organized by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), is the premier global tournament for national teams in this age group. Team USA is aiming to defend its 2023 title and secure its sixth overall championship in the event’s history
