Keep Orlando Beautiful (Website) will take part in the International Coastal Cleanup program throughout the month of September with multiple opportunities to volunteer. Last year, Lake Cleanup volunteers helped to collect over 2,000 pounds of litter.
This year’s dates and locations include:
- 9-11 a.m. Saturday, September 13, at Lake Fran with Central Florida Recon
- 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, at Lake Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co.
- 9-11 a.m. Friday, September 19, at Lake Eola with 5 Gyres
- 9-11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, at Loch Haven Chain of Lakes
- 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, September 24, at Lake Lorna Doone with Orlando City Soccer
- 9-11 a.m. Friday, September 26, at Clear Lake
