WUCF-TV, Central Florida’s PBS station based at the University of Central Florida, is hiring a producer to work on its local program “Florida Road Trip.” The role is classified as Broadcast Production Specialist I and is focused on producing video content for the station’s broadcast and digital platforms.
“Florida Road Trip” is a statewide travel and history series that takes viewers around Florida to explore the people, places, and weird things that shape the state.
The position’s core duties include shooting and editing using WUCF-provided equipment, researching and pitching story ideas, writing and editing scripts on deadline, and supporting production work in the studio and in the field.
UCF lists the pay at $20.29 per hour.
Preferred qualifications include production experience (internship or professional), experience with research and writing for film or television, familiarity with Adobe software, and experience creating digital content for multiple platforms.
