The Japan Festival Eustis (Website) is back on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Eustis. Admission and parking are both free, and attendees will get a chance to win raffle prizes, including a free airline trip to Japan.

The festival is organized by Arching Oaks Art and Culture Center (Website), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on 20 acres in Eustis dedicated to promoting Japanese artistic and cultural traditions. It describes itself as the largest Japanese cultural center in the United States, and is also home to Florida Budokan, where traditional martial arts, including Iaido (Japanese swordsmanship), Kyudo (Japanese archery), and Karatedo, are taught. The facility includes two dojo spaces, one of only four traditional Kyudojos in the country, a Japanese tea room, classroom spaces, and walking trails with a pond for forest bathing.
