The newly opened Dougie’s Dog Bar (Website) will host a free dog-friendly pop-up market on Sunday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Bark Mart pop-up will feature over 20 local pet brands, makers, and small businesses in the newest off-leash dog park west of downtown Orlando.
Event info says that pet owners can browse pet gear, treats, and accessories while their dogs play in the off-leash space (though we say you should never leave your dog unattended at a dog park). One grand prize winner will receive free entry for their dog for a month, which has a $45 value. The market event is free to attend, but entry fees for the dog park apply. Pet Rescue by Judy (Instagram) will be on hand with pups available for adoption.
The venue combines indoor and outdoor spaces where dogs can play off-leash while owners enjoy drinks and socialize. The bar serves 12 local Orlando beers on tap, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. Owners pay an entry fee for their dogs to access the off-leash areas and sign up for memberships to save on recurring visits.
