City Hall says Ride DTO reached 50,000 rides during busy Immerse weekend

UPDATE: According to the mayor’s office, there have been 5,081 unique riders of the program since it launched in 2024.

Ride DTO (Website) hit 50,000 rides during IMMERSE 2026 weekend, according to the mayor’s office. The $1 on-demand shuttle service launched in 2024 and operates daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Orlando. We’ve asked how many unique riders that translates to and will update this story once we hear back.

Mayor Buddy Dyer said via a prepared release that the milestone shows the service has become part of daily life downtown. Riders use it to get to work, restaurants, events, and move around the urban core. Which is important to note, as the city moves away from its longtime designated Bus Rapid Transit lanes as it converts its one-way downtown street grid to two-way traffic.

The service costs $1 per ride, and the first three rides are free with the code “RIDEDTO.” Just download the free app on Apple Store or Google Play to request a ride. The app will show you the real-time location of the vehicle on your map so you have enough time to finish your drink meeting and head to the curb.
