The folks at Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge (Website) will be hosting a Grand Reopening event on Saturday, July 12, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
After 25 years in East Orlando, the non-profit relocated to Lake Nona off Narcoossee and Clapp Simms Duda Road (if anyone knows the origin of the name of this road, please tell us – we’re guessing it’s the name of three families).
They have some fancy new digs, courtesy of Orange County Government, so stop by to visit their education center and rehabilitating wildlife. They’ll have vendors, food trucks, a new gift shop, and more.
Their new address is 10525 Clapp Simms Duda Road [GMap].
