A massive mixed-use development is coming to Orlando’s theme park corridor in 2028

RENDERING VIA OVATION ORLANDO

A major mixed-use development is planned for one of the most visible vacant sites along Orlando’s tourism corridor, and developers say it will open sometime in 2028.

Ovation (Website) is a 670,000 SF dining, retail, entertainment, hotel, and attraction destination planned for a 76-acre site at the northeast corner of Interstate 4 and U.S. 192, about one mile west of the main Walt Disney World entrance. The project is a partnership between South Florida real estate firm Accesso and Meyers Group commercial developers.

Accesso acquired the former Orlando Sun Resort and Convention Center site for just over $70 million. Ovation’s 670,000 SF of mixed-use space will be divided roughly evenly between restaurants (33%), entertainment (33%), and retail (34%), with a tenant mix expected to include both local businesses and national brands. The development will also include three signature hotel properties with a combined 740 rooms.

Ovation is targeting a 2028 opening.
