Garp & Fuss (Website), a popular restaurant and bar tucked away off Park Avenue in a Diagon Alley-esque side street, is temporarily closed after a fire damaged its building this week.
In a statement shared to social media (which you can read below), the restaurant, located at 348 N. Park Avenue [GMap], said everyone is safe and thanked the first responders who “acted so quickly.” Owners said they plan to use the closure to repair the fire damage and also renovate the building, to ensure it’s “safe and ready to welcome our guests for many years to come.”
The American-fusion restaurant sold to new owners in August 2024, following the ownership change and several months of closure.
No cause of the fire has been released, and the restaurant has not announced a reopening timeline.
