Flynn Dobbs to chat public art and civic engagement at CreativeMornings June talk

Flynn Dobbs, the City of Orlando’s Public Art Coordinator, will speak at CreativeMornings Orlando (Website) on June 26 at 8:30 a.m. about her personal and professional in work bridging contemporary art, civic engagement, and cultural planning.

Dobbs has held leadership roles across Central Florida’s arts organizations, including serving as Board Chair of the Downtown Arts District for the City of Orlando. She co-opened College Park Gallery in 2020 and earned her B.A. in Art History and Criticism from Florida State University in 2013.

In her current role with the city, Dobbs oversees major public art initiatives and supports the Public Art Board, and most recently she helped manage the Bloomberg Public Art Challenge, a $1 million citywide initiative addressing food insecurity through public art.

In 2026, Dobbs was named one of Orlando’s “40 Under 40” by the Orlando Business Journal in recognition of her leadership and impact within Central Florida’s cultural sector.
