Dosanjh is one of India’s most popular entertainers, known as a singer, actor, film producer, and TV presenter. He rose to prominence in the Punjabi music scene with his debut album “Ishq Da Uda Ada” in 2004 and has since become known for blending Bhangra, pop, and traditional Punjabi folk music.
His 2024 Dil-Luminati Tour drew 215,000 fans and grossed more than $27 million across 13 North American shows, making it the largest tour ever by a Punjabi artist in North America. Dosanjh made history as the first Indian-born artist to perform at Coachella in 2023 and became the first Punjabi artist to headline and sell out stadiums across Australia in 2025, drawing more than 90,000 fans in Sydney and Melbourne. He recently performed “Morni” on The Tonight Show, which is a song about celebrating being out on bail and taking revenge on your enemies with themes of Jatt pride.
In 2025, he received an International Emmy Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor for his role in the Netflix film “Amar Singh Chamkila.” The AURA World Tour supports his 2025 album of the same name. Dosanjh has starred in some of the most commercially successful Punjabi movies in history, including “Jatt & Juliet,” “Punjab 1984,” and “Super Singh.”
