The beloved Cocoa Village Bier Garten closed its doors on November 30, after eight years of business. The biergarten, known for its relaxed outdoor atmosphere, craft beers, and live music, had become a staple for locals and visitors looking for casual food and drinks in historic Cocoa Village.
Owners confirmed that they would be shutting down operations via social media, and the 8,500 SF property at 415 Delannoy Avenue [GMap] was immediately being marketed for lease. The original owner, Troy Stephen, sold the business to new owners roughly three years ago, who then sold it to new owners shortly after that.
The property is located directly across from Cocoa Riverfront Park. A listing on Craigslist estimates that it can accommodate roughly 300 seats, and that 96,000 cars pass it each day, on the 520 bridge to Merritt Island. An exact lease amount was not stated, though the title of the listing is “$10,000 Prime Restaurant.”
