High Point Climbing and Fitness (Website), the Southeast’s largest indoor climbing facility, officially opened today in Orlando’s burgeoning Packing District following a special grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new facility features a 52-foot-tall rope climbing wall, including one of only two competition speed walls in Florida, along with extensive bouldering terrain and a full fitness area. A standout feature is the 4,000 SF Kid Zone, complete with tentacled climbing towers, pirate ship slides, and auto-belays geared toward younger visitors. The venue also features a yoga studio, strength and cardio equipment, locker rooms with showers, and an on-site pro shop.
High Point Climbing & Fitness is the brand’s first location in Florida. The company, founded in Chattanooga in 2013, now operates multiple gyms across the Southeast. High Point’s Orlando location opens from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. most days, and is located at 1978 Stanhome Way [GMap].
