Ten Central Florida nonprofits have been named finalists for the 2027 Victory Cup Initiative (Website), chosen from 186 applications submitted across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Brevard counties, according to the organization’s announcement.

The finalists will share their stories at the 2027 Victory Cup Story Showcase Breakfast on February 23, 2027, where attendees will vote for organizations to receive cash awards and greater community visibility.

A panel of 271 community evaluators reviewed 168 eligible applications to select the finalists. They represent causes ranging from youth and family services to environmental conservation, the arts, legal access, and community wellness.

The five finalists in Orange County are CrossTown Ministries in Parramore, the Orlando Center for Justice, The Kitchen House in College Park, Opera Orlando, and Mead Botanical Garden in Winter Park.

In Seminole County, the finalists are Boys Town Central Florida and HOPE Helps, both in Oviedo. The Osceola Council on Aging is the finalist from Osceola County.

Brevard County has two finalists: Who We Play For in Cocoa Beach and the East Coast Zoological Foundation in Melbourne.

Now in its 12th year, the Victory Cup Initiative celebrates nonprofits making a difference in their communities while helping their leaders strengthen their storytelling and connect with potential supporters.

Earlier this year, nine nonprofits received more than $509,000 in unrestricted funding at the 11th annual Victory Cup Storytelling Breakfast at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Orlando.
