Comedian and musician Kyle Gordon (Instagram | Website), whose viral parody “Planet of the Bass” turned him into an internet music star, will perform at Conduit in Winter Park on Friday, October 9. Gordon and his band will “take you on a journey through the history of popular music, one song at a time,” with a set that combines his established songs and unreleased material.
Gordon built his following with satirical hot takes on popular songs and genres on social media. His breakthrough came in August 2023 with “Planet of the Bass,” a parody of 1990s Eurodance that went viral (and you can watch it below). His YouTube channel now has more than 1.3 million subscribers.
He released his debut album, “Kyle Gordon is Great,” in March 2024, followed by “Kyle Gordon is Wonderful” in April 2025. He also voiced the character DJ Crazy Times on “The Simpsons” in May 2024. A third album, narrated by Daniel Radcliffe, is expected to be released sometime this month.
