Self-proclaimed “Kings of Goblin Metal” Nekrogoblikon (Website) play The Beacham (Website) in downtown Orlando on Friday, October 23, with doors at 6 p.m., joined by Aborted, Signs of the Swarm, and Party Cannon.
Formed in 2006 in Santa Barbara, California, Nekrogoblikon has built a cult following blending death metal with folk and symphony, a penchant for theatrical costumes, and a heavy dose of comedy, centered around the band’s goblin mascot, John Goblikon. The band broke out with the viral music video for “No One Survives” off their 2011 album “Stench,” which helped land them festival slots including Download Festival and Rock im Park. Their most recent album, “The Fundamental Slimes and Humours,” continues the band’s mix of theatrical performance and genre-blending sound.
The show has a 12-and-up age restriction, though alcohol sales are limited to guests 21 and older with valid ID, and general admission tickets start at $35. Tickets are available HERE.
