"MATCHMAKING 2"
The 27th annual Central Florida Jewish Film Festival (Website) will take place from November 1 to November 3, at the Enzian Theater (Website) in Maitland. The festival is a long-running collaboration between Enzian and Shalom Orlando (Website), which is dedicated to showcasing stories that explore Jewish life, culture, and history through film.
Each year, the festival features dramas, documentaries, and comedies that highlight identity, resilience, and community connection. While the full 2025 lineup has not yet been announced, previous editions have featured films like The Most Precious of Cargoes, Elie Wiesel: Soul on Fire, and Matchmaking. Screenings often include discussions, guest speakers, or Q&A sessions that give audiences a chance to engage directly with filmmakers.
