Pintura Project (Instagram), the annual Orlando-based street art and graffiti festival, is returning on March 28. The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at The Nash Orlando (Website) in the West Lakes area, near Camping World Stadium.
Graffiti artists and local muralists will create large-scale works throughout the day, so attendees can watch the pieces develop in real time as walls transform into finished artwork. The festival has been running since 2008, when it was founded by Angel “Staz” Carreras, and now serves as a major part of Orlando’s street art calendar.
Live DJs and MCs perform throughout the day, which will also feature curated local vendors, food trucks, and giveaways. Additional pop-up events will take place on the same day in West Lakes and at Lorna Doone. Community partners include Hittn’ Skins (Instagram) and The Commission Beer Chamber.
The Nash Orlando is located in the West Lakes neighborhood at 36 N. Nashville Avenue [GMap] behind Hittn’ Skins.
