Hooters’ competitor Twin Peaks Restaurant (Website) is opening its first Kissimmee location June 29 at Poinciana Place Shopping Center at 2911 Vineland Road [GMap] at the intersection of Highway 535 and U.S. 192. The location is the 16th Twin Peaks in Florida.
According to a release we received late last week, the 8,500 SF space will feature more than 50 TVs, two full-service bars, and 32 beers on tap. An enclosed patio adds another 1,500 SF of seating. The menu includes new entrees like the Turkey Cheddar Melt with seared turkey and Billionaire’s Bacon on grilled sourdough, Sweet Heat Shrimp Tacos with jumbo fried shrimp and avocado smash, and loaded twice-baked potatoes available in classic or cheesesteak-style versions. The menu also includes in-house smoked brisket, smashed burgers, hand-cut steaks, flatbread pizzas, and signature smoked and grilled wings.
Full lunch service and regular hours launch July 4, following a weeklong soft launch. Standard hours are 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
