Twelve Talons Beerworks (Facebook | Website), a brewery on the eastern edge of the Milk District at 2807 E. South Street [GMap], announced it is closing permanently, with its last day set for Sunday, August 30.

The brewery opened in September 2023 in the former South Street Coin Laundry space, becoming one of the Milk District’s latest neighborhood breweries near downtown Orlando.

“Twelve Talons is going dark,” the brewery said in a statement. “We are closing permanently and our last day will be Sunday 8/30.”

The brewery said it will keep its regular days and hours until then and plans to go out the way it came in, with a lineup of imperial stouts, porters, and meads. Food trucks and events will also continue through the closing, with birria tacos Wednesday through Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. and a Dean’s Oyster (Instagram) pop-up on Sundays, August 23 and August 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. The brewery said it will keep a rounded tap list with a few local guest beers for lighter drinkers.

“Come see us while you can,” the brewery said.

No reason for the closure was given in the announcement.
