Timucua Opera Festival runs through March 22

The Timucua Arts Foundation’s second annual Opera Festival is running through March 22 at the white house venue at 2000 S. Summerlin Avenue [GMap], bringing an eclectic lineup of opera, chamber music, and choral works to one of Orlando’s most intimate performance spaces. Tickets range from $10 to $30.

Several performances remain on the schedule, including:

  • Bravo Chamber Orchestra — Sun., March 1, 2 p.m. World premiere of “In My Lifetime,” inspired by a childhood poem by Timucua founder Benoit Glazer’s late daughter, performed by the Maitland Symphony Orchestra with vocalist Sarah Purser.
  • Keri Lee Pierson & Jessica Ackerley: New Opera — Sun., March 8, 7:30 p.m. A new chamber opera for International Women’s Day, created by classical singer Keri Lee Pierson and composer/guitarist Jessica Ackerley with the Fernwood String Quartet.
  • Opera Del Sol: Vino e Voce — Fri., March 13, 7:30 p.m. Selected wines paired with opera arias.
  • MTI’s A Muskrat Lullaby — Sat., March 14, 2:30 p.m. A family opera based on Thacher Hurd’s children’s book “Mama Don’t Allow.”
  • Opera Orlando: Acis & Galatea — Fri., March 20, 7:30 p.m. Handel’s baroque pastoral opera performed by Opera Orlando’s 2025-26 Studio Artists.
  • Nathan Felix: Ribas-Dominicci — Sat., March 21, 7:30 p.m. A new opera highlighting Hispanic and LatinX stories from Mexican-American composer Nathan Felix.
  • Helena Collective: Tender, From Eve’s Footsteps — Sun., March 22, 7:30 p.m. Six Florida vocalists reimagine the story of Eve through poetry, narration, and choral works.
