Thornton Park Main Street (Website) is bringing back its annual Putt and Pour for the 11th year. Part miniature‑golf tournament, part pub crawl, the event is currently scheduled for Saturday, August 16, from 4-8 p.m.
Participants receive a scorecard at check‑in (open from 4-6 p.m. at the Thornton Park Circle in front of World of Beer) and embark on a course of miniature‑golf holes constructed by participating Thornton Park District businesses (though some are usually more creative than others).
Each hole is hosted by a different venue, where players can enjoy drink specials while trying to make par. Completed scorecards qualify attendees for raffle prizes at a post‑event party, which is set to take place at The Reindeer Room at 808 E. Washington Street [GMap] in the former Dexter’s/Jack and Honey space.
Click HERE to sign up for $17.85 per person or $55.20 for a team of four. Prices go up the day of the event.
