The touring Broadway revival of The Wiz will play at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Orlando from September 30 through October 5.
This classic production reimagines The Wizard of Oz through an all-Black lens, featuring soul, gospel, rock, and funk music. It is directed by Schele Williams with choreography by JaQuel Knight and features new designs by an award-winning creative team.
Performances run evenings at 7:30 p.m. (Fridays at 8 p.m.) with weekend matinees at 2 p.m. The show runs about two hours and 20 minutes, including intermission.
