Renaissance Theatre Company (Website) will bring back its pulse-quickening, 360-degree vampire theater, NosferatV, this Friday, September 5, Ivanhoe warehouse at 415 East Princeton Street [GMap].
Nosferatu reboots every year with a brand-new concept, vignettes, and redesigned set pieces that transform the entire 15,000 SF building into an immersive theatrical maze. Guests, encouraged to come dressed in all black, are led from room to room by performers/vampires, with somewhere around 16 secret scenes hiding in the shadows.
The night progresses in stages. “The Wandering” sends you exploring from 8 p.m. before ending in the V-Bar experience, which is an underground vampire nightclub complete with specialty cocktails, sexy dancers, and drag performances, for a vampy afterparty.
The full experience runs about $66. Other ticket choices, including just Wandering, just V-Bar, or combinations, range from $20 to $60. There are VIP upgrades, group discounts, and season passes for the real fang-bangers who need to come to as many shows as possible during the run.
