The Florida Classic is still coming to Camping World Stadium on November 21 despite the construction

Florida Citrus Sports just confirmed today that Florida A&M University and Bethune-Cookman University will face off at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Saturday, November 21, at 3:30 p.m. for the 2026 Florida Blue Florida Classic, even though Camping World Stadium is currently in the middle of a $400 million renovation set for completion in Summer 2027.

Portions of the venue will be impacted by construction during the November timeframe, so the game will proceed at an adjusted capacity, but organizers say the fan experience will “still deliver.” Though they haven’t shared how many seats will be affected by the work.

“Please pardon our dust as we continue to host one of the best rivalries in college football in Central Florida,” said FAMU President Marva B. Johnson. BCU President Dr. Albert D. Mosley added that both universities are working closely with Florida Citrus Sports “to ensure fans have the outstanding experience they’ve come to expect.”

The Florida Classic is one of the only HBCU matchups fully owned by the competing universities, and this year marks nearly three decades of the game calling Orlando home.

The Classic is the first of three major games at Camping World Stadium to close out 2026 and open 2027. The Pop-Tarts Bowl follows on December 29 at 5:30 p.m., and the Citrus Bowl caps the run on January 2 at noon. All three games at Camping World Stadium.

Ticket information and Classic Week event details will be announced at a future date.
