The annual Taste of DeLand (Website) takes over downtown DeLand this Saturday, April 11, from noon to 4 p.m., with local restaurants and caterers handing out endless samples (well, until they run out).
The event is hosted by the MainStreet DeLand Association (Website), a nonprofit that supports downtown DeLand, and all proceeds benefit the organization. Kids 4 and under get in free, but no pets allowed. Obviously, real service animals are.
