Rollins College (Website) advanced to the NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Championship this past Friday, after a stunning victory over Fort Hays State (Website), a team that entered the semifinal match undefeated. The Tars will now take on Midwestern State University (Website) during the championship match on Sunday.

Midfielder Justin Nelson (Instagram) scored the lone goal, assisted by senior Jordan Proulx (Instagram), in the 24th minute during Friday’s match. The goal was the 10th of the season for the redshirt freshman from Jamaica.

Sunday’s match will mark the second time Rollins men’s soccer has reached the national title match. Their first appearance was in 2010, where they were bested by Northern Kentucky University with a 3-2 result.

The championship battle will take place at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs on Sunday, December 13, at 5:00 p.m. ET. Locally, the match can be live-streamed at NCAA.com.
