Rockpit Brewing and Distilling (Website) and South Orlando Crossfit (Website) will bring back their annual “Beerlympics” on Friday, February 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 10 W. Illiana Street [GMap] in the SoDo District.
The competition is a team-based event built around “beer-adjacent” challenges, with teams of four competing in a series of “mildly athletic” games, including a Crazy Straw Chug Relay, an Obstacle Course, and Hammerschlagen, a bar game that involves hammering nails into a wooden stump – which is much harder than it sounds.
