The 11th Annual Slinging for Santa fundraiser will take place on December 4 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Reindeer Room (Instagram | Website) in Thornton Park. The event features three hours of open bar service staffed by “celebrity bartenders,” with a suggested $30 donation at the door. All donations and all bartender tips go directly to The Ulmer Fund (Instagram), which provides Christmas gifts for underprivileged children in and around Orlando.
Alcohol for the event is supplied entirely by sponsors, allowing 100 percent of proceeds to go to the charity. The bar lineup includes Tito’s Vodka, Lalo Tequila, Hendrick’s Gin, Jack Daniels Bourbon, Flor de Caña Rum, Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Planteray Rum, Caymus wines, Kendall-Jackson wines, Yuengling, Corona, and Good Boy hard seltzers.
The event always gets a strong turnout, so show up earlier rather than later if you want to maximize your drink-for-donation ratio.
