The Kia Center was filled with the thumpa-thumpa thunder of drumlines, brass stabs, and high-stepping marchers on Friday, November 21, when the 2025 Florida Blue Battle of the Bands, presented by Publix, highlighted some of the country’s top high-school and college marching bands. And we were there to snap some photos.
The show featured multiple school bands from across the nation to compete in front of a packed arena with headline performances by the Marching 100 from Florida A&M University and the Marching Wildcats from Bethune-Cookman University.
One standout moment captured on the Orlando Shine lens was the Ocoee High School band, whose 250-member ensemble stormed into the arena like a tsunami. Check out some of our photos from the event below.
