The 20th Annual Taste of Lake Mary (Website) took place Tuesday evening in the courtyard between the Lake Mary Marriott and Park Place at Heathrow, drawing a sold-out crowd for a night of food, drinks, and live music benefiting the Rotary Club of Lake Mary.
More than 25 local restaurants, chefs, bakers, and beverage purveyors participated in the event, which has raised over $625,000 for community organizations since its inception. This year also marked the debut of a VIP ticket option, giving early arrivals a 30-minute head start and access to private air-conditioned seating inside the Marriott.
When the evening wrapped, five winners took home honors:
- Best Savory Dish — Hangry Bison
- Best Sweet Treat — DonutNV
- Best Food Truck — Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream
- Best Overall — FishBones
- People’s Choice — Cocina Maya
