The results are in for the 3rd Annual Untappd Community Awards (Website), and Orlando’s local producers had a strong showing, led by a Mills 50 meadery that is now among the best in the world.
The Untappd Community Awards are driven entirely by verified ratings from the platform’s nearly 11 million users, with no judges or entry fees. This year’s awards recognized 25,510 beverages from 7,140 producers across 100 countries, based on ratings collected throughout 2025.
The standout is Zymarium Meadery (Website) in Mills 50, which earned 18 awards total, 7 of them at the national US level, making it the second-most-awarded meadery in the world this year. Cofounder and sole meadmaker Joe Leigh is already a multiple-time top-10 meadmaker in the world according to the American Mead Makers Association, and this result puts an exclamation point on that. Among the awarded meads are two local collaborations: Triptych Nectar with Hourglass Brewing and Brood Coffee with Lineage Coffee.
On the beer side, a good chunk of Orlando’s brewing community picked up Florida-level recognition. Sideward led with 7 awards, followed by Crooked Can (5), Swan Brewing (4, one national), Rockpit (4), Hourglass (4), Wolf Branch (3, one national), Deviant Wolfe (3), Toll Road (3), Home State (3), Tactical (2, one national), Twelve Talons (2), Bowigens (2), Dees Brothers (2), Ten10 (2), and single awards for Conjure and Ivanhoe Park.
