Orlando Sentinel is launching a year-long 150th anniversary event series with a free public program in Winter Park on Thursday, January 15. The kickoff event is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bush Auditorium at Rollins College and is billed as a discussion focused on higher education in Central Florida.
Sentinel columnist Scott Maxwell will moderate the panel, with representatives from Rollins College, Stetson University, and the University of Central Florida taking part. The event is part of a series of monthly community-focused discussions marking 150 years of the newspaper’s coverage in the region.
