Orlando is getting a new food-themed festival this spring with the Orlando Pickle Fest (Website), scheduled for Saturday, April 25, at Festival Park in The Milk District, at 2911 E. Robinson Street [GMap]. The event is being produced by Battle Bros Events and will run from noon to 9 p.m., with organizers pitching it as an all-day, family-friendly celebration of all things pickle. Sounds great.
According to the press release, every food and drink item at the festival will be priced at $10 or less, and the lineup will include live bands, a marketplace with local vendors, and interactive activities. Those activities include free axe-throwing and a Kid Zone featuring bounce houses and obstacle courses. We hope they involve pickles, too.
General admission is listed at $10 per person, and kids 8 and under get in free. Tickets are available HERE for purchase.
