Orange County Parks and Recreation will host the fourteenth annual Mayor’s Jazz in the Park on Saturday, March 7, from noon to 6 p.m. at Cypress Grove Park, at 290 Holden Avenue [GMap]. The outdoor concert is free to attend, with no tickets or reservations required.
The event will be emceed by jazz personality Yvonne Loggins Coleman (LinkedIn), with support provided by WUCF 89.9 FM. Scheduled performers include the Jones High School Community Band; Naomi Joy (Website); The Yo Cats Jazz and Brass Band (YouTube); Jeanine McAdams Presents Divas of Jazz (YouTube); Will Patrick (Website); Joseph Jevanni and iNtensity (Website); and headliner Dayve Stewart and the Vibe (Website).
Attendees are recommended to bring lawn chairs and picnic meals, with food trucks also expected on-site. Alcohol is not allowed in the park, and pets are not permitted in the event area.
